Decatur police: Two adults, two children injured after incident at Chipotle

DECATUR, Ala. (WHNT) — The Decatur Police Department (DPD) says four people, including two children, were taken to the hospital Monday after a “possible vehicle malfunction” at the Decatur Chipotle.

A department spokesperson said officers responded to an incident at the Chipotle on Beltline Road around 7:42 p.m. Monday night.

DPD said two adults and two children were injured after a “possible vehicle malfunction” in the patio area of the restaurant.

The department said both adults and one child were taken to Decatur Morgan Hospital for treatment. The spokesperson said a second child was airlifted to the hospital for further treatment.
