HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Huntsville Utilities, Athens, Utilities, and Decatur Utilities are sending crews to areas damaged by Hurricane Helene to assist in recovery efforts. Friday afternoon, Huntsville Utilities received a mutual aid request from Bristol Tennessee Essential Services, which was hit particularly hard by the remnants of Hurricane Helene. A few hours later, nine of their lineworkers began their trip to Bristol.
