HUNTSVILLE, Ala. ( WHNT ) — The Huntsville Police Department said officers responded to a possible shooting off University Drive Sunday morning.
The Huntsville Police Department said officers responded to the 4400 block of University Drive Sunday morning for a possible shooting.
Once officers arrived, HPD said they found a victim with a gunshot wound.
HPD said the victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries. HPD said the victim will likely survive.
The department said it believes this is an isolated incident but will continue to investigate the incident.
