Decatur Police: Woman arrested for theft

DECATUR, Ala. ( WHNT ) — The Decatur Police Department says a woman was arrested for theft on Tuesday.

According to DPD, on Nov. 4, officers received a report from a Decatur resident regarding stolen money. During the investigation, authorities said Kimberly Edwards was identified as the suspect.

Man charged with sexual abuse of child in Decatur

On Nov. 12, detectives said they contacted Edwards at a home in the 1000 block of Danville Road. Officers said Edwards was arrested and charged with third-degree theft.

She was booked into the Morgan County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
