HUNTSVILLE, Ala. ( WHNT ) — Huntsville Hospital announced Thursday that it has reached an agreement with United Healthcare to keep the hospital in network with the insurance company.
Last month, the hospital announced plans to end its relationship with the insurer saying it had sent a notice of termination to the company. HHS initially laid out a schedule for when different hospitals would no longer be in-network for people covered by United Healthcare.
Now the hospital system says those plans are changing.
“This new agreement enables patients to continue to have access to the HH Health care teams that they know and trust. Our patients will always be our first priority,” said Jeff Samz, chief executive officer of the Huntsville Hospital Health System.
