Authorities arrested two men wanted in connection with a multi-agency drug investigation in Limestone County. On Nov. 7, the Limestone County Narcotics Unit along with the Limestone County SWAT, Madison County Narcotics Unity, Madison County Street Crimes Unit, Madison County SWAT, and Athens Police Department HEAT conducted several search warrants across Athens. During the searches, agents found more than 24 pounds of marijuana, a distribution amount of meth, cocaine, pills, and 10 illegally possessed firearms.
