Italian restaurant in Huntsville closing its doors after nearly 20 years

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. ( WHNT ) — A Huntsville Italian restaurant is closing its doors after nearly 20 years ahead of a new location opening in Athens.

Around noon Tuesday, Terranova’s Huntsville posted that its doors would be closing on February 2.

The post on Facebook said that while the Huntsville location will be closing in less than a month, the chain still plans to open its Athens location later in February.

With saddened and heavy hearts, Terranova’s Hsv is closing our doors Feb 2nd for the last time. We do still plan to open Athens in late February (100 Hwy 31, Suite J).

We are most appreciative of our wonderful staff (management, servers, host/support and kitchen) as well as our faithful and loving guest whi have supported us for the last 18 years.

We have been blessed with the opportunity to serve and support this community.

During this transition period, we ask that you please come join us and support what we have left to give by asking for favorite servers, giving hugs, and well wishes, but most importantly please give prayers to all and our families.

We will post more updates as they come. Thank you all

May the Lord Bless you and keep you all teathered to him.
