HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – The man accused in a homicide in Huntsville on Christmas Day has been arrested, according to officials on Thursday. According to the Huntsville Police Department, the person of interest in the Uvalde Lane homicide has been arrested in Greenville, Mississippi by the Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force. Marion Joseph Mercer, 35, has been charged with murder, according to HPD.
