MONTGOMERY, Ala. – While speaking with reporters during her Rebuild Alabama Road Tour stop in Limestone County on Friday, Governor Kay Ivey shared her plans to sign House Bill 386, aimed at reducing the state’s grocery tax, once she returned to Montgomery. After arriving back in the Capital City, she signed the bill into law, marking another step in lowering Alabama’s tax on groceries.
