ATHENS, Ala. — The driver of a tractor-trailer allegedly involved in multiple crashes — including one fatal collision — along Interstate 65 last week is scheduled for a court appearance Tuesday to determine possible bond release.
John Walter McAdams faces a murder charge in connection with the death of 22-year-old William Hardrick. Prosecutors have filed four counts in total against McAdams, whose semi-truck erupted in flames following what authorities describe as a 27-mile drive that caused eight separate accidents.
