HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – A man was arrested on Tuesday after police said he threatened a cashier during a robbery in Huntsville.
According to the Huntsville Police Department, a man went into a business on Meridian Street around 12:30 a.m. on May 20, picked up a selection of items and then attempted to leave the store. The cashier asked him to stop, but the man threatened to use a gun.

HPD said that officers responded to the store and got a description of the suspect, his vehicle and his license plate number.
