On Saturday at 5:42 p.m. a severe thunderstorm warning was released by the National Weather Service in effect until 6:15 p.m. for Limestone and Madison counties.
The storms could bring penny-sized hail (0.75 inches) and wind gusts of up to 60 mph.
“At 5:42 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located over Madison, moving west at 5 mph,” according to the weather service. “Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.”…
