RAINSVILLE, Ala. — Rainsville has earned the title of Alabama’s safest city for 2025, according to the latest SafeWise report, reflecting a significant drop in both violent and property crime rates.
In the ranking of the state’s safest cities, SafeWise placed Rainsville at the top, followed by Southside, Helena, and Kimberly. Tuscumbia, which held the top spot in 2024, dropped to #6 this year.
According to the SafeWise report, all cities on the list reported fewer than three violent crimes per 1,000 residents and fewer than 12 property crimes per 1,000 residents.
