Routine traffic stop leads to man facing drug trafficking charge in Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — A routine traffic stop led to a man being charged with drug trafficking in Huntsville.

On Wednesday, officers pulled over a vehicle with no license plate in the 3700 block of Blue Springs Road around 11:30 p.m.

Before the vehicle came to a complete stop, officers noticed the passenger, later identified as Kai Milton Hampton, 24, of Huntsville, leaning forward and appearing to conceal items.
