HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Organizers in MidCity are gearing up for a three-day Fourth of July celebration, bringing together live music, fireworks, and a new mini-festival in Apollo Park aimed at creating a safe, family-friendly atmosphere.
“We’ve had fireworks here for years, but this is the first time we’ve added a kind of a mini festival here in Apollo Park, hoping to give people a way to come out and be with the community,” said Joanna White, managing director of the Apollo Coalition.
