HUNTSVILLE, Ala (WHNT) — Many of us will be out in the sunshine and behind the grill for the fourth of July, but not everyone can say they served over a thousand meals to the community to celebrate the holiday weekend.
“This is a big community event,” Downtown Rescue Mission CEO Keith Overholt said. “We’ll serve about 1200 hamburgers and hot dogs today and karaoke and shaved ice and everything else that’s going on. It’s a lot of fun.”
