Woman arrested in Priceville on elder explotation charges

PRICEVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The Priceville Police Department says a woman was arrested Wednesday for exploiting a couple she had been caring for.

PPD said that Sarah “Penny” Queen, 69 of Moulton, was arrested at the Priceville Municipal Building Wednesday and charged with first-degree financial exploitation of the elderly and second-degree elder neglect.

21-year-old accused of picking up, bringing child to Madison Co. for ‘unlawful sexual contact’

The department said the charges came after investigators received reports of potential elder exploitation on June 1.

According to PPD, the investigation uncovered evidence that showed an older couple living in Priceville had been exploited by their caregiver, identified as Queen, for $20,000. Police said a the same time it was found that Queen failed to seek or provide medical services for the pair…
