New details in deadly Marshall County crash involving Huntsville Public Works Director

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ala. — New details have emerged about a deadly crash involving Huntsville’s Public Works Director, Chris McNeese, on Highway 231 in Marshall County on July 1.

According to a crash report from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, McNeese was driving too fast for the conditions, which included heavy rainfall, wet roads, and limited visibility. His city-owned Chevy Tahoe hydroplaned, crossed the median, and overturned after hitting a tree.
