Family and dogs escape unharmed as fire destroys Madison County home

MADISON COUNTY, ALABAMA, Ala. — A Madison County home is a total loss after a fire Sunday night, but firefighters say all three people inside, along with the family dogs, made it out safely.

Multiple fire crews, including Moores Mill Volunteer Fire Rescue, New Market Fire, Hazel Green Fire and Central Fire, responded to the fire. When they arrived, the home was already fully engulfed in flames.
