WASHINGTON — To recognize veterans of the Vietnam War who faced danger and hardship in a war that divided the country, U.S. Rep. Dale Strong is hosting a 50th anniversary pinning ceremony next month.
“We owe a debt of gratitude to the brave men and women who answered our nation’s call and served with honor in the United States Armed Forces during the Vietnam War,” said Strong (R-Huntsville). “These courageous Americans stood firm in the face of danger and unimaginable hardship to ensure that freedom, democracy, and the values we hold dear would triumph over the evils of communism.
