Business owners say turn lane closure has been a nightmare

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The intersection at Bob Wade Lane and Countess Road at Memorial Parkway has been under construction for a month, with crews putting in new traffic signals and repaving the road.

Some store owners have reached out to News 19 with concerns about the impact the road project is having on their businesses.

Veronica Rawls, owner of Grandmama Dear Dear, a restaurant located on the corner of Bob Wade, said that the left turn lane traveling north on the parkway is cut off and says the closure has nearly paralyzed business…
