Attorneys for man accused of killing Hartselle woman request mental evaluation; case heads to grand jury

MORGAN CO., Ala. (WAFF) – The capital murder case against a man accused of killing a Hartselle woman is headed to a Morgan County grand jury.

On Monday, a detective testified that Wyatt Young claimed victim Nancy Deanne Sandlin Fox had put a spell on him and raped him while he was volunteering at her shop.

The detective testified that Fox’s family called the allegations lies.
