MADISON COUNTY, Ala — The Madison County Sheriff’s Office is deploying additional safety measures as students return for the 2025-26 school year and will strictly enforce school zone speed limits beginning Monday.
The department’s Traffic and Safety Unit will patrol designated school zones during morning arrival and afternoon dismissal times. The increased presence aims to promote safe driving and provide rapid response capabilities for potential incidents.
