HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – Starting January 1st some airline flight attendants and pilots will not be allowed to use the employee parking lot. An airport spokesperson said because of the growth and construction they need to make this change. This impacts only transient airline employees. Those employees may live in North Alabama, but use the airport to get to their assigned destination.
Here is the airport’s statement on who could be impacted:
“Beginning January 1, 2026, transient airline employees—those who choose to reside in the North Alabama area but are based at other airports—will need to park in either the Parking Deck or Economy Lot at standard public rates.
