After a week of dangerous heat and humidity, temperatures will finally be going down a little into the weekend. A weak cold front will move in on Friday, bringing temperatures down to near 90 in the afternoon. It will still be humid, with heat index values up near 100 degrees.
Friday will also bring back the chance for storms so stay alert to changing weather conditions. The strongest will bring frequent lightning, heavy downpours and brief strong wind gusts.
By the weekend, temperatures will dip to the 80s for highs with chances for storms…..
