HUNSTVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – The Huntsville Museum of Art is set to open back up and is offering a free admission day to celebrate.
The museum’s reopening is set for August 31, after being under construction for several months for facility upgrades. While closed, the HVAC and humidity regulation system were upgraded, allowing the museum to host exhibits more safely.
“We are incredibly grateful to Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle and Huntsville City Council members, who support the investment in preserving the museum’s collection,” HMA Executive Director Christopher Madkour said. “The upgraded HVAC system will allow us to continue bringing high-quality exhibits to the North Alabama community. We already have several compelling shows lined up for 2025 and 2026, including the photography exhibit Days of Punk – Photographs by Michael Grecco, which opens on Oct. 17.”…
