Woman arrested for burglary in Limestone County after being caught on camera

LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. — A burglary suspect was arrested Tuesday after breaking into a home on Ripley Road and leaving behind a trail of evidence, Limestone County authorities said.

According to the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office, officers responded to the reported burglary in the 14000 block of Ripley Road on August 5.

Home security cameras captured the suspect, identified as 44-year-old Christi Lynn Tellez of Athens, using a weapon to break a window and enter the home. During the burglary, Tellez sustained an injury and left a blood trail inside the home…
