HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The driver of the dump truck that crashed into the South Huntsville Target at the end of July is facing multiple traffic charges, court records show.
The Huntsville Police Department said the crash happened just after 1:30 p.m. on July 30 at the Target on Carl T. Jones Drive when a dump truck was traveling down Ledges Drive and reportedly experienced a brake failure. Police said the truck then continued until it hit the South Huntsville Target store, injuring the passenger and trapping the driver.
A crash report obtained by News 19 lists the driver of the truck as Nicholas Randall Baker of Jefferson City, Tennessee. He is facing a number of traffic violations, including driving while his license was revoked and operating a commercial vehicle without a required commercial driver’s license…
