Suspect in Ronald Dumas Jr. waives preliminary hearing, won’t be in court Wednesday

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The only suspect in custody in Huntsville charged in the disappearance of Ronald Dumas Jr. will not be in court Wednesday for a preliminary hearing, after her attorney said she is waiving that appearance.

Kierra Clark, 28, was extradited on July 30 from a jail in Memphis to face charges in Huntsville. Dumas, a Huntsville realtor and father of three, was last seen by his friends and family on Dec. 15. The last known images of him were taken from security video at a Huntsville liquor store, MidCity Liquor off University Drive.

Clark is one of five people charged with kidnapping and related offenses in Dumas’ disappearance. Most of the suspects are based in Memphis. The only other suspect in custody is Quintarius White, who is being held in the Shelby County, Tenn. jail…
