City is now poised to annex 572 acres in North Huntsville

Huntsville has already had a year of significant growth, and that’s not just the population of the city. Last week, the Huntsville City Council approved the annexation of more than 500 acres in North Huntsville.

The land is expected to be developed through a master planning process for residential and commercial development.

The land to be annexed is north of Bob Wade Lane and bisected by Mt. Lebanon Road. The Sam and Rosa Harris Family Farm LLC submitted the request for annexation.
