Follow-up HPD drug investigation leads to 243 grams of cocaine found, man arrested

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The Huntsville Police Department said one person was arrested in a drug investigation Monday.

HPD said the department’s Anti-Crime Team was patrolling the Rime Village area after neighbors raised concerns about drug and gun activity.

The department said during a traffic stop, officers made contact with 39-year-old Ashley Crutcher, of Huntsville. A follow-up drug investigation led to the recovery of the following items:

  • 243 grams of cocaine
  • 30 grams of fentanyl
  • $9,593 in drug proceeds
