HPD gives new details on missing 25-year-old man

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — It’s been more than a month since family and friends of Lazarus Howard III have heard from him.

Huntsville Police have been working to learn more details, but they say they’ve hit somewhat of a standstill in the Huntsville-Madison County area.

“We’ve reached a point where we need to expand our reach into the Selma and Central Alabama area because we know from talking to family that he’s from Selma, and he may have returned there,” said Sgt. Chris Jackson. “We’re hoping we can speak with people that are in that area.”

He was reported missing by his mother on July 19…
