ATHENS, Ala. (WAFF) – The Limestone County Sheriff says he wants to nearly double his staff. Adding that his deputies just need some relief.
Sheriff Joshua McLaughlin said he needs around 50 more deputies on the force here in Limestone County, but he believes starting off with just 10 would be a great start.
McLauglin said he currently has 59 sworn officers, but based on the number of calls they get, he really needs 40 to 50 more…
