TRIANA, Ala. — A small Alabama community came together Thursday to support a local family who lost their home in a devastating fire earlier this week.
Residents of Triana made their way to the town’s fire station on 6th Street with donations ranging from clothing and baby supplies to furniture and household goods. The outpouring of support filled an 18-foot trailer bound for the displaced family.
“We needed, we had to come together as a community, so we put this together fairly quick,” Fire Chief Chad Beddingfield said. “But we have a small community that’s taking care of each other.”…
