HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The Huntsville Police Department said a woman was arrested over the weekend for assaulting another woman during an argument.
HPD said on Saturday, around 2 p.m., officers responded to the 2300 block of Governors Drive for a report of a possible cutting in progress. Upon arrival, HPD said they found a woman with a “minor puncture wound.”
The department said the victim told officers she had been in an argument with another woman. The argument then escalated when the suspect, identified as Jennifer Renate Gray, hit her with a small object, initially believed to be an ice pick.
