HUNTSVILLE – Dr. Margrit von Braun will return to a place rich with personal and historic meaning when she takes the stage as guest speaker for the Space Explorers Celebration in October at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center’s Davidson Center.
Von Braun, daughter of Dr. Wernher von Braun, will share her family’s memories of Huntsville during the early days of the Apollo program in a talk titled “Reaching for the Moon – A Family Adventure.”
The evening event, hosted by the NASA Marshall Retirees Association in partnership with the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, is both a celebration and a reunion. It brings together former and current NASA and contractor employees along with their families to honor a shared legacy of space exploration…
