Traffic stop on I-65 leads to drug trafficking charges in Priceville

PRICEVILLE, Ala. — On August 30, 2025, Priceville Police conducted a vehicle stop on the southbound side of I-65 near mile marker 333, leading to the arrest of two individuals on drug-related charges.

The driver, Scott Jerrad Lee, 47, from New Market, and the passenger, Jack Camariotes III, 44, from Huntsville, were taken into custody after a narcotics investigation revealed methamphetamine, GHB, illegally possessed prescription medication, various items of drug paraphernalia, and over $5,000 in U.S. currency inside the vehicle.

Camariotes faces charges including trafficking dangerous drugs, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, illegal possession of prescription drugs, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. A Morgan County Circuit Judge set his bond at $75,600 after reviewing his criminal history…
