THE HILL | Madelyn Cornwell registered seven saves as the Alabama A&M University women’s soccer team concluded its three-game homestand on Sunday with a 2-0 loss to Jacksonville State at the Bulldog Soccer Field.
Jacksonville State (2-2-2) struck for an early goal as Amelia Jacobs collected the ball inside the penalty area and in traffic fired a shot past Cornwell to give the Gamecocks a 1-0 lead in the fifth minute.
