Driver of truck that slammed into Jones Valley Target ticketed for several offenses

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – The driver of a dump truck that slammed into Target on July 31 has been ticketed for several offenses, according to court documents.

Nicholas Baker of Jefferson City, Tennessee, was ticketed for:

  • No medical certificate on driver’s possession
  • Expired tag from 2021
  • Carier name and/or USDOT required but not displayed
  • Operating a CMV without periodic inspection
  • Driving while revoked
  • Operating a CMV without a CDL

The incident unfolded around 1:30 p.m. on July 31 at the Target in Jones Valley.
