HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – This week, Madison police are looking for a man who they say stole several gardening tools from a local hardware store.
Huntsville Police say on August 13, 2025, the unknown suspect walked into the ACE Hardware on Hughes Road, filled his shopping cart with a STIHL HS 56 hedge trimmer, lawn clippers, a leather sheath, and a pivot coupler. The stolen items totaled $524.88.
Police say the offender then exited the store without paying, and fled the scene in a grey or silver Chevy Silverado pulling a double-axle trailer hooked to the back with STIHL weed eaters on the side, and a zero-turn lawnmower with yellow seats…
