HUNTSVILLE – A weeks-long campaign to help keep drunk drivers off the road resulted in several arrests and dozens of citation, the Huntsville Police Department said.
The department wrapped up its participation in the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign, which ran Aug. 15 through Tuesday.
Throughout the campaign, HPD’s DUI Task Force and patrol officers worked to keep the city’s roads safe, conducting traffic safety checkpoints and saturation patrols from 6 p.m. and 4 a.m., HPD said in a news release…
