Space Command decision launches plans for 255-home community in Athens

ATHENS — Described as “250 thoughtfully crafted residences nestled in a secluded retreat just beyond Alabama’s most innovative corridor,” a planned community received a conditional rezoning by Athens City Council.

DDB Capital, a real estate investment fund, announced the city’s approval for Higher Living, a planned 255-home community in Athens . It is planned for Cambridge Lane, south of the intersection with U.S. 72.
