LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WAFF) – A Limestone County judge heard shocking testimony during bond hearings for five of the 12 suspects involved in a child human trafficking sting on Wednesday afternoon, including one suspect whose job gave him access to a school lunchroom.
An investigator testified that one of the suspects, John Cleveland, admitted he knew he was meeting a 15-year-old girl with $170 in his pocket, but Cleveland just claimed he didn’t have sexual intentions.
That investigator testified that Cleveland made a call from jail where he was heard saying, “That’s the first time I cheated on my wife and the last time I’ll drink again.”…
