MORGAN COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office said four people were arrested after an investigation into a multi-level drug trafficking organization.
MCSO said on September 7, agents with MCSO’s Drug Enforcement Unit, North Alabama Drug Task Force and Alabama Drug Enforcement Task Force- Region F, conducted a drug operation at a hotel near Beltine Road and 6th Avenue in Decatur.

The sheriff’s office said the operation was a weeks-long investigation that successfully dismantled a multi-level drug trafficking organization with direct ties to Mexico, Atlanta, and other States within the United States. Agents identified several local individuals working on behalf of the organization to smuggle and distribute narcotics across North Alabama.
During the law enforcement operation, Agents executed search warrants at specific rooms at the hotel after the location was identified as being the site of a narcotics transaction. During the execution of the search warrant and coordinated takedown, Agents made contact with four people:
- Victor Hernandez, 36 of Austell, GA
- Miguel Aguirre, 28 of Chicago, IL
- Nicanor Garcia Garcia, 53 of Chicago, IL
- Priscila Karime Narzagaray, 37 of Atlanta, GA.
During a search of the rooms, Agents located 24.7 pounds of methamphetamine. Shortly after the search, Agents placed all four suspects under arrest for Trafficking in Methamphetamine, with Garcia also charged with Resisting Arrest.

The subjects were transported to the Morgan County Jail, where they are booked in lieu of $750,000.00, the sheriff’s office said. Three of the four subjects are being held pursuant to Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainers…
