MADISON, Ala. — A Madison pizzeria went above and beyond its 9/11 fundraising goal.
Joe Carlucci, owner of Valentina’s Pizzeria and Wine Bar, says Thursday’s event brought in $27,000 — beating their original $24,000 goal.
Carlucci says some customers waited four to six hours for just one pizza to support the cause. He also thanked the volunteers and local businesses who helped pull the event together…
