HUNTSVILLE – The Huntsville Police Department is launching a feedback initiative today, sending text surveys to individuals after receiving assistance from HPD personnel. Surveys will be sent within 24-72 hours after an officer, dispatcher or staff member provides help, either in person or by phone. Recipients may receive a text message with a secure link to the survey. Participation is voluntary, and all responses are anonymous and confidential. The survey is designed to assess the quality of the service provided, including whether individuals felt heard, respected and supported. Respondents can also leave additional comments or suggestions to help HPD enhance its services. “This is about listening and learning,” Chief Kirk Giles said. “When someone calls us for help, their experience matters……
