Alabama woman’s amazing household invention lands her $750,000: ‘She blew people away’

If Ruth Young-Loaeza has her way, the bed linen her Huntsville-based NEET Sheets company produces will become as much of a household word as Windex or Kleenex.

She took a step in that direction when she took home the $750,000 grand prize in the “Meet the Drapers” Halobama Pitch Competition in Tuscaloosa.

“I’m a former housekeeper,” Young-Loaeza told AL.com. “I never thought I would be doing what I’m doing. I never thought I would win. I thought at least more people will know NEET Sheets. I thought I’m here to promote NEET Sheets … and hopefully meet someone else who can help bring Neet Sheets to more eyes, ears and more pockets.”…
