Some love stories take a lifetime to write.
For John Newton and Carolyn (Burns) Bryant, the first chapter of their story began in a Hartselle classroom in the early 1950s. The latest chapter — perhaps the sweetest of all — will be written on Saturday, when the two come home to marry at age 80.
