Jackson County deputies arrest 2 in separate firearm incidents over the weekend

JACKSON COUNTY, Ala. — Deputies with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office made two separate firearms-related arrests over the weekend following a shots fired call in Woodville and a traffic stop in Flat Rock.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, on Saturday, Oct. 12, deputies responded to a property dispute along Highway 72 in Woodville after receiving reports of shots fired. Investigators say a gun was fired through a door into a home, but no one inside was hurt.

Deputies arrested 36-year-old Ashlee Poma of Woodville. She’s charged with discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling and was later released on a $15,000 bond…
