MORGAN COUNTY, Ala. — A 48-year-old man was taken into custody in Morgan County on Sunday, charges with three counts of murder. Records reviewed by FOX54 show the arrest comes three-and-a-half years after that suspect was indicted in connection with a deadly November 2020 crash.
Adelaido Jimenez Barrientos, 48, was booked for involvement in a wreck that claimed the life of Tammaria “Tammy” Martin, who was 55 at her time of death.
According to the indictment, Barrientos demonstrated “extreme indifference to human life” during the incident, which occurred as he was reportedly operating his vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
